Subject: [PATCH 5/6] hash-object: add another >4GB/LLP64 test case
Date: Thu, 04 Jun 2026 17:15:11 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <f48d570bba87f7604158646873b998725a4a9db9.1780593313.git.gitgitgadget@gmail.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <pull.2138.git.1780593313.gitgitgadget@gmail.com>
From: Philip Oakley <philipoakley@iee•email>
To complement the `--stdin` and `--literally` test cases that verify
that we can hash files larger than 4GB on 64-bit platforms using the
LLP64 data model, here is a test case that exercises `hash-object`
_without_ any options.
Just as before, we use the `big` file from the previous test case if it
exists to save on setup time, otherwise generate it.
