Subject: linux-next: manual merge of the drm tree with Linus' tree
Date: Mon, 5 Jun 2017 12:49:33 +1000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20170605124933.2ee737db@canb.auug.org.au> (raw)

Hi Dave,

Today's linux-next merge of the drm tree got a conflict in:

  drivers/gpu/drm/i915/intel_dp.c

between commit:

  8001b7541aa7 ("drm/i915/dp: rename rate_to_index() to intel_dp_rate_index() and reuse")

from Linus' tree and commit:

  3194102439f6 ("drm/i915/dp: use known correct array size in rate_to_index")

from the drm tree.

I fixed it up (see below) and can carry the fix as necessary. This
is now fixed as far as linux-next is concerned, but any non trivial
conflicts should be mentioned to your upstream maintainer when your tree
is submitted for merging. You may also want to consider cooperating
with the maintainer of the conflicting tree to minimise any particularly
complex conflicts.

Cheers,
Stephen Rothwell
