Subject: linux-next: manual merge of the tty tree with the arm-soc tree
Date: Thu, 15 Mar 2018 17:28:58 +1100	[thread overview]

Hi Greg,

Today's linux-next merge of the tty tree got conflicts in:

  arch/arm/boot/dts/stih407-b2120.dts
  arch/arm/boot/dts/stih410-b2120.dts
  arch/arm/boot/dts/stih410-b2260.dts
  arch/arm/boot/dts/stih418-b2199.dts

between commit:

  db5430663017 ("arm: dts: replace 'linux,stdout-path' with 'stdout-path'")

from the arm-soc tree and commit:

dbb3fb45edff ("ARM: dts: STi: Remove "console=ttyASN" from bootargs for STi boards")

from the tty tree.

I fixed it up (see below) and can carry the fix as necessary. This
is now fixed as far as linux-next is concerned, but any non trivial
conflicts should be mentioned to your upstream maintainer when your tree
is submitted for merging. You may also want to consider cooperating
with the maintainer of the conflicting tree to minimise any particularly
complex conflicts.
