I'll recheck it again on clean system, but for the record:
1. We are running 6.5-rc1 kernels.
2. PPC doesn't compile for us on -rc1 without this fix.

3. I didn't see anything relevant -rc1 with "git log arch/powerpc/mm/fault.c".
